FIRST VISIT

The clinic has a modern approach to Chiropractic and whilst there is a strong emphasis on a holistic approach to healthcare, the clinic has a distinctly medical approach to obtaining a diagnosis, establishing treatment options and providing and education to all our patients. Your first visit is a little longer than a regular visit and allows the Chiropractor to establish a history or background of your problem, perform an examination and collate this information to provide you with an appropriate treatment plan.

HISTORY

A vital part of diagnostic procedure to establish, onset, severity, frequency of occurrence of the problem, any possible causes, any family traits

EXAMINATION 

The Chiropractor will perform a series of Chiropractic, Orthopaedic and Neurological tests designed to test what you can and cant do. This provides vital measurable factors that assist with diagnosis. 

Xrays are often used to confirm or deny suspicions. Xrays are optional but do provide additional information.
